A modern approach to a steep site overlooking downtown Basalt. The site had tight setbacks and height limits along with the difficult topography. Facing the garage along the street setback provided a roof deck with a perfect view of downtown Basalt. The upper levels shifted on the site to work with existing topography as well as to capture the incredible Mount Sopris view.
