This small, dated home was in need of a remodel and additional space for a growing family to use as a vacation home. By adding a dormer upstairs, 2 bedrooms were added. A garage was also added and connected to the existing home through a new staircase. Due to the high fire danger rating, all new materials had to have a class "a" fire rating, which eliminated being able to match the existing siding. A cement fiber board siding with modern detailing was the solution.
